How to ensure that Palo Santo stays lit

Proper Lighting: Hold the stick at an angle and expose the tip to a flame (match or lighter) for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, until the wood starts burning well.

Gentle Blowing: After blowing out the flame, a red ember should form at the tip. If it extinguishes too quickly, relight it and wait a bit longer.

Ventilation: Make sure the area you’re using it in isn’t too windy, as too much air could put out the ember.

Relighting: Palo Santo naturally tends to go out after diffusing its fragrance. You can relight the stick several times during your cleansing or meditation session.
