Benzoin is a balsamic gum resin obtained from the bark of a tree named Styrax, located in South Eastern Asia: Sumatra, an island in Western Indonesia. Also known as Storax, its perfume resembles that of Vanilla, soft, sweet, velvety and well-balanced.
